The UK Focal Point's Annual Report provides information on the drug situation in the UK. It provides additional information to the data contained in standard tables and structured questionnaires. In particular it provides a discussion of the main trends and a description of the responses to the situation. Each Member State's report follows a common structure, which covers national policies on drugs, prevalence, prevention, problem drug use, drug-related treatment, health correlates and consequences, social correlates and consequences and drug markets. In addition, a number of selected issues are chosen for in-depth consideration each year. Previous topics include gender differences, drug driving, alternatives to prison and drugs in recreational settings. The most recent UK Focal Point Annual Reports are available in the publications section of this website. The EMCDDA publishes its own Annual Report based on those submitted by the member states. The EMCDDA's Annual Report is available here (opens in a new window) and the individual country reports for all member states are available in english here (opens in a new window). |
